Actor and entrepreneur Andrew Shue has married Marilee Fiebig, the ex-wife of former ABC anchor T.J. Holmes. The couple wed on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Shue’s country estate in New Jersey, less than two months after their former spouses, Amy Robach and Holmes, tied the knot.
The wedding closes one of the most talked-about chapters in recent American TV news, a story that began with a newsroom scandal and ended with two separate marriages in the space of a few weeks.
What We Know
According to USA Today and Hello! magazine, Shue and Fiebig exchanged vows at his property near Stockton, New Jersey, which several outlets describe as the couple’s farm. People confirmed the ceremony, and wedding photos were first published by the Daily Mail.
Fiebig wore an off-the-shoulder white lace gown with a veil, while Shue, 59, wore a black suit.
The couple had only gone public with their engagement a few weeks earlier. In a People interview published on October 21, Shue revealed that they had quietly become engaged in the spring. “We’re very grateful and hopeful,” he said at the time, adding: “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.”
That same Sunday in New York, Holmes was running the New York City Marathon, the race won by debutant Andreas Almgren. Hello! reported, citing race-tracking results, that Holmes finished in 4 hours, 19 minutes and 35 seconds. Before the race he told USA Today it would be “the first marathon I’ve ever run that she wasn’t right next to me,” a reference to Robach, his usual running partner.
Background
Shue is best known to TV audiences as Billy Campbell on the 1990s Fox drama Melrose Place, where his co-stars included Alyssa Milano. After acting, he moved into business and activism, co-founding the youth nonprofit DoSomething.org and the parenting site CafeMom. He is the younger brother of Oscar-nominated actress Elisabeth Shue.
Shue was married to Robach from 2010 until 2023. Fiebig and Holmes married in 2010 and share a daughter. Both marriages unravelled in late 2022, when photos of Robach and Holmes together were published while the two co-anchored GMA3: What You Need to Know on ABC.
The fallout was swift. ABC took the anchors off the air, and the network parted ways with both of them in January 2023. Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig in December 2022, and Robach said she and Shue had separated that summer. Both divorces were finalized in 2023. Robach and Holmes later launched a podcast together and remained a couple.
Shue and Fiebig, meanwhile, grew close as the situation played out. Their relationship became public in December 2023. Shue told People the pair were “able to share ourselves with each other in a time where we both needed a friend.”
Robach and Holmes married privately on September 19, 2026, in Washington County, Arkansas. Their marriage license was recorded on October 13, which is when news of the wedding surfaced. Shue and Fiebig’s engagement announcement followed days later.
What’s Next
Neither Shue nor Fiebig has issued a public statement about the wedding so far; USA Today said it had reached out to Shue for comment.
Back at ABC, the morning lineup has long since moved on, with anchors such as George Stephanopoulos still fronting Good Morning America. For viewers who followed the saga from the GMA3 days, two weddings in seven weeks bring the story to a close on all four sides.
